1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StockBuckket website, applications, scanners, trading journal, alerts, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by StockBuckket (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. Account registration & security

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly at Contact if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or abuse risk.

4. Nature of the Service

StockBuckket provides software tools including candlestick pattern scanners, market data displays, trade journaling, optional broker integrations, and subscription-based premium features. The Service:

• Does not execute trades on your behalf unless you explicitly connect third-party broker APIs under your control.
• Does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data, signals, or scanner output.
• Is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

5. No investment advice

Nothing on StockBuckket constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Scanner results, charts, option-chain analytics, AI-generated narratives, alerts, and user-generated journal entries are for informational purposes only. You alone are responsible for your trading and investment decisions. Past performance of any pattern, strategy, or backtest does not guarantee future results.

6. Subscriptions & payments

• Paid plans, pricing, and feature access are described on our Plans page and may change with notice.
• Manual UPI payments are subject to verification; access is granted only after successful claim approval.
• Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a plan period has been activated.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code or data beyond normal use.
• Share account credentials, resell access, or overload our systems with automated requests.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Misrepresent StockBuckket as a SEBI-registered adviser or guaranteed-profit service.

8. Intellectual property

The StockBuckket name, logo, software, designs, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial trading research in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. journal notes), but grant us a licence to store and display it as needed to operate the Service.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with brokers, data providers, messaging platforms, payment systems, and other third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, data errors, or actions taken through linked accounts.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockBuckket and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, trading losses, data loss, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StockBuckket, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, extended inactivity, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
